1. Get a quote – How to get a quote based on our questions.

Equipment Insurance
The first step is to provide the total replacement cost of your equipment including accessories – that is the price it would normally cost new and undiscounted and also including GST (if you have second-hand equipment, we will replace new for old). If you have a vintage or rare item, then the value should be what a reputable dealer will indicate in a professional valuation.
The second step is to indicate if you would like to have cover in New Zealand and Australia or to have Worldwide cover.

Public Liability Insurance
The first step is to provide the level of liability cover you would like – $2, $5, $10, or $20 million dollars.
The second step is to advise us if your forecasted turnover for the next 12 months will be over $500,000. Turnovers above $500,000 need to be discussed with InsuranzDirect.co.nz, please contact us for further information.

Negligence Insurance
Tell us if you work in your industry on a full time or part time basis. Our opinion is that if this is your only job then it is full time and if it is a second job or secondary income then it would be part time. 

Studio/Office Insurance
 
Online quoting for Studio/Office Insurance is currently unavailable, however if you would like a quote on this product please contact us. 

2. Create your own cover - How to get a cover based on our questions.
Once you have completed our quote questions a premium will be displayed with the excess applicable to that cover and the sum insured amount you have chosen.  If applicable your multiple policy discounts will be applied and shown.  If you are happy with the details displayed and you have read the terms and conditions click the buy now button and the online application process will commence. 

The following steps will guide you through your online application and payment process:
  • Step 1: Your personal details
  • Step 2: Your previous insurance history
  • Step 3: Your policy specific details
  • Step 4: We request that you read our Terms and Conditions
Quote confirmation and payment options: Once you have confirmed your quotation is correct you will need to choose your payment method.

3. Payment Options - How to pay for your insurance policies 
Payment options are defined under Payment Methods.  We have an online credit card payment facility and we also offer offline payment options.  If you are unsure about making a payment please contact us.  

4. That's it – you are done

Once a payment has been received we will send your Policy Documents (including your Policy Schedule and Policy Wording) via email or by post.   

Don't forget you have 14 days to decide if you are happy with the products you have purchased and if you are unhappy we will give you a no questions asked refund.
